Scam call purportedly from bank advising of fraudulent credit card transactions which they are blocking. The caller wants you to input a code which they text to you. DO NOT DO SO. If you do they will, no doubt, get access to your account. I put a block on the call number via my mobile phone provider and sent an email to the bank's security dept informing them of the scam.

The guy on this number is after your bank account, saying he`s a debt collector and he`s agents are on there way, if you pay him now, he will stop them. Its a scam, hang up, he`s not even convincing.

I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. Keep sending hateful messages and aren’t anyone I know. If someone could do something about it, it would be nice! They also sent links to dodgy gore websites and luckily I have a VPN. Otherwise I would have got a virus.

Constant missed calls for a week. I answered and it was a polite lady from Vodafone trying to sell me something. She knew my name as I am a customer. When I said I was busy she said she will call back another time. This number does not appear on the Vodafone authorised numbers list although it is only one digit out from a lot of their numbers.

I am not with First Direct and why would a bank be texting anybody? These texts with links are designed to trick us into installing scamming software on our phones. Please do not tap on these links. Go to your bank through the normal method to check.
