Man with foreign sounding accent called wanting to speak to the owner of the phone, I said "NO" so he asked if I was a family member, I asked why he wanted to know all this and that he was obviously up to no good and put the phone down. I am registered with the TPS so this call must be one of the "diverts" from outside the UK.. I suspect he would have been calling about internet problems etc. I am fed up of these calls. I think whoever this person is got the wrong number and called me instead of calling the person they wanted to call. I answered but they just hung up straight after I said Who is this?
A guy just called me from this number and mumbled some company name (I think it was three initials but didnt catch it). He didnt explain what he actually wanted and simply asked if I could answer some questions about how I was "coping with the recession". I have been registered with the TPS for at least six years and asked him how he got my number -he said I must have shared it on a comparison site.I know that whatever info I would be dumb enough to share will be passed on to some other sales team to target
