claimed to be from Amazon saying a 300 pound payment had gone through and need to contact them by pressing 1

rude invasion of privacy. Worse than spam email because I have to answer a call from a UK dialling code, but I don t know its a scam until I have done so. Should be illegal.

(Boiler replacement scheme) Followed instructions to speak to someone there to ask them to remove my name from their list, as I am registered with the Telephone Preference scheme. This is Warner marketing company. Line stayed silent but called back and the message stated Warner and that it was regarding taking part in a marketing survey.

very dodgy! I have had several missed calls so when I answered a guy with a northern accent asked for myself (although had my maiden name and I have been married for 6years!) then he said he was calling regarding my insurance up for renewal and asked if that was correct... there was something very dodgy about this guy though as he kept repeating himself and was also laughing!!! I just apologised and said I was at work and cut him off. I have since blocked the number!

Cold calling telemarketing; constant repeated calls despite answering tha not interested but they don t seem to get hint or react to stop the harressment.
