My mother-in-law has just found a charge for ?99.99 on her Barclays statement. I ve just spoken to the bank and they have been 100% helpful and have agreed to refund her ASAP. When mum-in-law initialy went into the bank to query the transaction they told her that it was a holiday company and assisted her to call them. The company told her that they take the view that unless you specifically say otherwise they assume that you want thier services, even though the in-laws had no knowledge of the company. T

I keep getting phone calls from this number, it rings a couple of times and hangs up, Ive tried calling them but they hang up the phone.

Said they were SKY, and knew i was ViP customer trying to offer a better deal. I went along with it as far as first and last name, once they asked for my address i said you are Sky you should know this already so I hung up. If it is genuine then i dont think they went about it the right way. If they are not, then i am happy i hung up.

This number called my Portuguese phone number asking to confirm if I was Carmo Silva, insisted with it which I confirmed, and hung up after it without telling me why the call and how he obtained my number. This number keeps calling me to ask for a previous owner. Every time they call they say they have never called before.
