Received a missed call from 01277 557 626 - phoned back as number from Brentwood where I live. No ringing, goes straight to a strange robotic voice saying "Your call is very important to us, please stay on the line while we transfer you to the next available agent" Then silence, no holding music. Hung up straight away as appears to be a bogus call - no company greeting and I doubt they ever transfer you to anyone. Just racking up your call time to get money.
Called at 9 in the morning, I missed it then called them back a couple of hours later, he answered pretending to be some automated pickup service for Barclay's, could barely hear him whilst he was talking and apparently walking, sounded like a chubby little bastard who was out of breath from walking, from what I heard it sounded like he was pretending to be from Barclay's bank, mist likely some kind of scam so would avoid

Received a call from 01784279719 on 24/08/2017. Asian sounding male asked to talk about my "Windows" PC. So for fun I asked which one? I m an old nerd and have all between Win 3.1 and Win 10, but I did not tell him that! He says "the one running the Windows operating system". It s obvious he is fishing for info! I never answer any calls from numbers unknown. They are always unwanted! Just wait until it stops ringing and then block from future calls. (This also hopefully tells the caller that your number is not operational.)

Called about £ loan - i politely refused and was told to f**k off - then i was rang back and asked if i knew what mother f**ker meant. Interesting tactic to say the least.
0800 161 5204 This is NOT a Barclays number at all! They phoned me and asked for my dob... I said the year only. To which the caller became very irate and asked for further info, I put the phone down and actually phoned Barclays customer service who confirmed this number does not belong to any barclaycard department! Be aware, they are scammers!
