PPI Scammers, do not respond to their text. You do not need to text STOP as you haven t opted in to anything. Texting STOP just helps the criminals by verifying that your number is in use.

I called the number back got through to a recorded voicemail advising it was not a sales call, it was a market researcher working on behalf of EE - I am an EE customer so seems legit.
Please report recorded spam from this number using the link below - it seems this is an ongoing investigation by ICO in the UK (so being on TPS may be effective, eventually?) I have just been called by this number who immediately wanted to take me through security! All sounded very legit but just something in the back of my mind made me think that anyone could call up and start asking for my date of birth etc etc and why would I give that info to a complete stranger!!! I told them they needed to write to me instead (he said they already had - ha, ha) and then put the phone down. Looked up this number and guess what - loads of people who have had calls from the same number!
