Scam call, allegedly from my (unnamed) Internet Service Provider. Apparently, my internet service is going to be suspended, due to "illegal activities".

This number keeps appearing on my phone no clue who it is when i ring it back it says i must have dialled a wrong number

Claim to be one of two Google accredited uk resellers. There is no such thing! They call me every day minimum twice a day except weekends. Whenever I refresh gumtree advert. They hang up as soon as they realise you won t part with money over the phone. Told them I m in the telephone preference service but it makes absolutely no difference, they will call none stop. Received 3 calls today!

I called this number back - there s a recorded message - "You were contacted today by claims professionals..." I m sure there s more but decided not to waste any more money and hung up.

I received call from this morning while I am at work, so I politely declined it. And I asked whether this is one of those commercial calls because I would like to be taken off the list forever, and the guy on the phone lied and said is to do with my life insurance, etc. (which is rather funny cause I am not currently paying any). Ppi claims . told me I had taken out a bank loan in 2004. I wasnt sure as I ve had a few over the years. But then after thinking about it I realised I didn t take out a loan at that time . they sent out forms and I haven t filled them in . they ve rang non stop ever since. The man was very pushy telling me to remember what I m telling you regarding dates of this non existing loan. Am I doing the right thing??.
