SCAM - When you answer the call you get an automated message stating that you National Insurance information has been compromised, the messages asks you to select a number on the keypad to speak to the Legal Dept. to ensure legal action is not taken due to fraud. I have contacted HMRC they are aware of the SCAM you do not need to contact anybody - BLOCK THIS NUMBER and/or report to [email protected]

Had a call from 01497 874850. From BT Openreach regarding untrustworthy downloads from Facebook / Google. Wanted me to connect to a page on internet to check security has not been compromised. When challenged (ie no problems noticed, I would not connect to any page while on the phone - I would contact BT myself), they hung up. Obvious telemarketing / scamming.
It is my BB provider and they ask me 2 charaters out of the security question I set up with them and my surname for data protection before discussing my account. I must say the person I spoke to was friendly and actually gave me a discount on my current deal, did not try n sell me more stuff which was good.
