I never answer the landline (to avoid giving scammers/spammers the knowledge that my landline is a valid number). I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous. SCAM claiming to be Barclays card fraud

SCAM Recorded female voice stating that some account belonging to me (didn't catch what she said) had sent £600 overseas and this was a check to see if I had sent it. Press 1 for Yes it was me and 2 for no it wasn't. As it was clearly a scam, I did neither ! Strange that the search shows the number as being from Rothesay - which I'd always regarded as a prestigious place !!!

I have no recollection of this telephone call, but it appears on my bill as 7.52mins at a premium charge of £9.261

Ozval se mně ženský hlas s otázkou, zda jsem jim volal. Odpověděl jsem, že nikoliv a demokraticky jsem se zeptal , kdo že mě tedy od nich volá! Druhá strana hovor demokraticky ihned ukončila... :-O Tedy je demokraticky zřejmá demokratická nevychovanost nebo demokratická intelektuální zaostalost telefonní operátorky.
