Scam call pretending to be BT Openreach

This looks to be a scam. I telephoned this number after missing a call and receiving a voicemail message from someone calling himself "John" asking me to call another number. The above telephone number is an automated voicemail service(possibly USA), with no company name given or any indication of identity.

Got a call from this number and a woman left a voicemail and she knew who I was and my bank, Halifax. She asked me to call her back on 07823 445 999 which is an invalid number.

The caller with a strong foreign accent (possibly Indian) stated he was calling from BT Openreach about potential problem with my internet connection. So I thanked him for calling and hung up, as it sounded like it might be an all too frequent scam call.

He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. Fraud SCAM Pretending to be from my mobile operator, offered a crazy cheap tariff and then started to ask details about my current tariff and personal details that I'd expect my operator would already know/have on record.

It’s a scam number. Got a call from this number telling me they have a discount for o2 members and asked for my o2 one time code to apply the discount.

Foreign sounding pre-recorded message about a substantial VISA debitcard transaction. Obvious scam - messages from banks, etc do not usually start "Dear Customer". Use of an apparently local number is clearly an attempt to give it some credibility.
