SCAM Caller said they were from Amazon and that I would have a high payment charged monthly (£79.99) unless cancelled and the caller was going to "help me" cancel my Amazon Prime subscription. After some arguing (as she tried to get me to stay on the line), I hung up and checked Amazon website going through their online chatbot. 4th March 2022 Called on my friends phone but hung up when I answered. My friend died three months ago and as executer for his estate I have his phone. Call log shows they also called on 22nd Feb 2022 but no message left so the number has been active for at least two weeks.

Claimed to be a Michael from BT Telecom informing me that there was an issue with my router. I was suspicious of this caller as I had experienced no problems with by broadband or router. I terminated this call.

They called me several times. The first time I picked it up there was noone speaking and after 5 second they hung up. The second time I just heard an automated message saying the office was already closed and geve time options to call back. this was strange from the beginning. They are AG Legal calling about a car accident they claim I?ve had. Of course I had no car accident. They told me something about money they have for me.. Please, stop it. I?m going to block the number.

Caller identified himself as energy savings company in Great Yarmouth, and asked if I was home owner. I told him I d had a call from them a week ago and had said I wasn t interested in solar panels. He then tried to interest me in energy savings from govt scheme for new efficient boilers. Repeatedly offered me a free evaluation which I declined, then he hung up (politely) when he saw he wasn t persuading me.
Just another of those numbers: called 3 times in the last 2 days. We always suspect a scam and never answer them.
