The guy just went straight into a script, no explanation of why he was calling or what the company were about. I put the phone down, "Grants" and Windows were mentioned.

Ignore 0843 numbers - lucky to see number before pickup. Mine was a morning call which I ignore as stated,

I did buy an engine back in 2013 from enginestoyou who did deliver an engine but it was the wrong one. After i informed them they came and collected it but failed to refund me or send me a replacement engine. I chased them through email and phone but they would simply ignore everything. I did contact my bank and various other bodies but no success. They were no where to be found. It angers me how they have managed to rip people off and get away with it so easily. Message on my mobile number (which I don t give out) to bother me about PPI claim. A cold call and I don t know how they got my number. Nuisance.

Tried on two occasions to get a better deal at the end of my 24 month contract, not offered anything worth staying for especially after being a customer for 10 + years. I requested PAC via online chat as others did commenting here. Very painful experience, given the hard sell from retention team and then made very awkward to extract PAC number from them. Subsequently they rang me on said number begging for me to return ? Too late! I wouldn?t go back if it was free.

I ve just recived call from this number. Man on the phone was saying he work as a Mortgage Adviser and it s connected with Halifax bank. He had my previous house address and was saying that it is address I ve got my mortgage on. I ve disconnected immediately. Don t give them any of your details!

Never give any information to an unknown caller, no matter how plausible they sound.

SCAM MENTIONING BT DISCONNECTION.

I had my details sold by Car Phone Warehouse, after buying phones....... told ICO hope someone does something as in their terms and conditions there is wording relating to this, but no opt in or opt out..... it s just wrong, I pay for a service, a phone and then they sell my details on.... why .... never ever have I had such texts/ calls as I do now all within a day of purchasing something from their site...

Robot voice pretending to be from BT, saying we have detected malicious activity on your IP address. Strange, as I aren t with BT, and ironic, as the call is a scam itself.

3 unanswered calls in 2 hours today. Blocked subsequent calls....they will be watching this site as well as we all do. Another id shifter, likely to morph quickly into a new number and/or title - now that they are "famous" here!
