Scam call asking for details of my lawyer, for tax default. Claimed to have written to me and wanted details from me. I didn t give them any of my details, they said because I wouldn t give them my information the police would be round my house in a couple of hours to arrest me. Person on the phone did not speak very good English as was definitely not from the HMRC.

answered phone person at other gave wrong surname told him we had telephone preference and put phone down.

Steve Star from some company offering legal advice and help. Asked if I d had an accident in the last 2.5 years or if someone in the family had. I asked him for the source of the information on me. He asked me what I meant? I said that if he was saying I had an accident , he must have some information on me and in that case, I had a right to know the source. He said " we help people , that s what we do" then he hung up - very helpful!!

Had this call 11.30 today. Well spoken young man says " I hope i ve got the right number, can i speak to Mr (My Surname)". . .i ask which one as there are three Mr (My Surname) at this address. He then shouts something garbled down the phone and hangs up! 07712657744 is now well and truly BLOCKED!!

So far in the past week I have had 13 calls from these people. Thankfully I have a CPR Call Blocker fitted on my phone line, so now I don t even hear the phone ring. They do seem to be very persistent though. Hopefully they will realise soon they aren t going to get anywhere with my number and give up.

Just had call from a guy from this number asking me about my life insurance. Told him not to call my number again he replied I will call this number every day of your life told him I would make a complaint he replied I will call you tomorrow at 6pm told him not to call ever again as it s cold calling., he replied it s not cold calling I am warm He was aggressive and said I was stupid. Very very bad caller.

think this is a scam.... and hung up immediately.

Picked up, said hello with no response. Stayed on the line and 10 seconds later an automated voice said goodbye and then they hung up

CALLS MADE WITH NO IMMEDIATE ANSWER. THEY CONFIRM YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS WHICH IS UNNERVING. VERY NASTY PEOPLE. DON T GET INTO A CONVERSATION WITH THEM AT ALL AS THEY CAN BE THREATHENING WHEN YOU SHOW THEM YOUR NOT A FOOL.

"We have been informed you have been in an accident in the last 3 years". I haven t. It is an automated call, the "person" you are talking to is actually automated. I am on the no call list so am reporting them.

I did buy an engine back in 2013 from enginestoyou who did deliver an engine but it was the wrong one. After i informed them they came and collected it but failed to refund me or send me a replacement engine. I chased them through email and phone but they would simply ignore everything. I did contact my bank and various other bodies but no success. They were no where to be found. It angers me how they have managed to rip people off and get away with it so easily. I get, on average, 2 calls a day from this number. Never rings for long, and never leaves a message. Maybe scam!

Annoyingly you have to answer the phone to add it to your BT black list so i only answered and hung up straight away. i dont know why they bother and i hope they rot it hell.
