this scam involves getting access to a persons computer controlling it and it works and is quite easy to perform the scammers use log me in rescue a tool used by guienune support companies but use it to gain access to your personal files they then download a FAKE ANTIVIRUS and tell you that the problem has been solved then they will bring you to a site where youl be asked to put your bank card details and various other personal details which they have no business of knowing in to the boxes then they hang up

Called my mobile, asked for someone I don't know, told them they had the wrong number, then tried to ask me questions, before the caller got through the first question I hung up.

Automated call saying it was from my internet provider and I must switch off my internet due to illegal activity. Press 1 for further info. I declined the call at that point. My internet provider is in an entirely different part of the UK so I assume this was some sort of scam

Received a call today from 01942538691 which is actually a legitimate number from Brook Farm Cattery in Wigan. Only problem is the people who phoned me were Indian speaking and said they were from UK Benefits, PHYSHING for information in pretense of dong a survey, the information of which they then sell on to other companies and you end up getting bombarded with other unwanted calls.

SCAM Left a voicemail which starts halfway through a computer voice saying something about my number has been found ‘suspicious for a number of illegal activities’. ‘It’s very time sensitive and urgent that we hear back from you before we proceed further with suspension of your national insurance number, your assets and arrest you. Please press 1 to speak to an officer, I repeat, press 1 to speak with an officer. Thank you’.
