An asian sounding gentleman rang from this number, said has name was Daniel, and that he would only take up a minute of my time, and then wouldn t bother me again. He knew my name and postcode. I asked what it was all about, as I wouldn t give any information until then. He hung up.

Male with indian accent said he was from BT, then asked whether I was a BT customer, after asking him why he was calling me, he rang off. In my opinion it was a scam call.

I have been getting regular calls from this number. The first few times I told them I wasn t interested and to remove my number, requests not actioned. Different people same spiel! Obviously an offshore telemarketing operation located in Asia somewhere. Have given up hanging up. They use other numbers too because I now recognise their voices. I have blocked this number and several of their other numbers. They simply get another number and try again!!!

Got an unsolicited call from this number. Did not pick up the phone but dialled 1471 to find out the number that had called me. Turned out to be Solution Marketing of Nottingham so I have complained to the TPS with whom my landline is registered.

Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. I get a call at least twice a week and I m sure it s the same company as well but I ve never had ppi claim thing, but when you call the number back it says something about claiming a delayed holiday fight. Not actually O2 but a company making it sound like they are from O2, they are just trying to get you to upgrade. Tell them you will call 202 from your handset and upgrade with a O2 representative directly and not to an unknown number
