PPI SCAM AVOID ANSWERING

called and left a voicemail for my mum (she owns the 3uk contract account for my phone)and asked her to call them back on the same number. seems a bit suspicious to me though because they have never called before even when we were behind on a payment, other people said all they hear is silence which wouldnt happen for official 3uk customer advisors calling people and the woman was barely understandable - she was obviously an indian call centre person

Had a call from them, answered it they put the phone down their end... They'll be added to my block list

Obvious call centre noise background noise as soon as I answered, with a delay before anyone responded. The caller had an extremely strong Asian/Indian accent and told me his name was Paul Simon (yeah, right!) calling from Norfolk County Council about a recent accident I d had. I was called by a PPI claim company.As I see that this number is also used by the 'Microsoft' tech scam then I assume that this number can be rented by foreign compani...

I have been called several times yesterday back to back from firstly a London number twice, then twice from private number and this one today. They all start by saying am I ****** when I ask who they are they mumble something then ask me if I own or rent my property. The person who called today was female and I could actually understand what she said, except for the initial mumble. The first two London calls where listed as suspected spam, however, some of calls in this category have been bona fide.

Would not speak to me, just asked for the MD (by name) then when I wouldnt put the call through, just hung up.

from looking online i m assuming its some kind of scam debt collector, i don t tend to pick up phone if i don t know number, but i checked number online in case it was job centre or something, but apparantly its some kind of cold caller, waste of time talkin to these ppl if in fact u get to talk to a real person, most of time its auto msg and u get asked to call back, not happenin
