Had the very same thing on this number 016188182004. Indian accent from a call centre, passed on to "manager". Told them them I knew what they were up to and that they were ringing from India. Don t give them any information and put the phone down.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. I note that this number has been cloned and this number showed up today and was Talk Talk (so they said) and I had problems with my router. I blocked so they called on another number a few hours later.

Had call at 15.35 17/12/14 on home landline. Buzzing background noise for about 10 seconds, then caller terminated call

Robo call sounding about 6 yrs old for non existent car accident. Also using 01258 058011

Credit check company. Tell them you re not interested and they continue to rant and rave over you. Told them it was an unsolicited call, the female has quoted the wrong law, she said good bye then waited for a response! aggressive mannerisms from the off and seemed to call for an argument!! Also didn t confirm the name of who the poor victim was she was calling for, just assumed I was it!!

It is Santander but they bombard you with silent calls.

this company is an ambulance chasing menace. register with the tps (including mobile numbers) and complain about them to get them investigated - it is now illegal for all but a few types of cold calls. if you still get calls after say two months complain to ofcom.
