He claimed to be from Halifax bank and said that the bank needed me to discuss serious matters concerning my account... Caller wanted to inquire about me being a home owner, I lied and told them I rent the property. They rang off. I refuse to give personal details on the phone to unknown callers.

This number just rang my phone, I said hello, they then hung up on me. Agreed with Adam that they want you to phone them back. Found out that it is a charge of 45p-62p per minute to ring back. Also found out it is an individual not a company hoping you will phone him/her back and in doing so they will make him/herself a nice monthly income at your expense.

Just had a call from this number stating I am being investigated for ‘tax fraud’ and to press 1 (to possibly drain the life out of my contract bill) obviously a scam and the voice was automated sounded like a robot.
Text Message said I was eligible for the flu jab, and to book via mygp.io app. There was a link to that app, but didn't click it. Suspect it's not genuine, but it did have my correct first name, so will go for neutral for now as I'm the first to review.

Every day they call a big nuisance
Caller claimed to be from BT Openreach calling about poor internet speed - sounded like an Indian call centre. I was wary but we have been having poor speed so I carried on. They asked me to do a speed test on out internet using a site I have used before. They said the speed figures were very low. They wanted me to download software so they could connect to my PC which I didn't do. When I started to challenge them to prove who they were they hung up. I suspect this is a scam call.
