Lady with Far Eastern accent informed me she was calling from Sky Technical about my broadband. I told her I didn't have Sky broadband and she then said she represented all the other ISP's, Talk Talk Vodafone etc. I then ended the call. Beware!

This number called with message about "every house needs to be done by 2016" plus "we are in your area" last week - some solar panel scam. Didn t answer - the message is recorded on my answerphone. Same message from 01316483485 yesterday - same result. This lot have probably rented fake numbers from a major phone company which offers them on its web site. Some firms offer call centres numbers which give the person called the idea that it is a local call.

Called asking to speak to the person dealing with water drainage and maintenance. Have had no previous dealings with this company. When asked they had no website, e-mail, and only this number to give me.
They repeatedly call me, asking to speak to somebody whom I've never heard of (only know the name due to them calling and asking for a Mrs Fraser?) - every time, the callers get very abusive and have sworn at me, calling me a bitch and to fuck off, when asking for my details to be removed off the system. Silent call The owners of this number need to learn how to use an autodialler properly. Twice today (so far) I've picked up phone to silence at the other end. Whatever they're selling, I'd be reluctant to buy from a company that makes silent calls because they can't set up an autodialler correctly. Clue: You need people at YOUR end to speak to those who pick up. Amateurs!
