The polite man with a Middlesbrough accent said my name was on the database and that it was possible that I was due money back from finance or credit in the past 10 years. Knowing that I have never had any insurance or anything connected to loans etc, I knew he was just fishing - so suggested this and he put the phone down. How he got my number is a mystery

I did buy an engine back in 2013 from enginestoyou who did deliver an engine but it was the wrong one. After i informed them they came and collected it but failed to refund me or send me a replacement engine. I chased them through email and phone but they would simply ignore everything. I always receive most unknown telephone calls altogether over a 24 hour period and then get nothing for 1-2 weeks. Today at 10.30 am I received a call from a man who with-held his number requesting to speak to me by name and I replied to him not known .He was very rude and did not introduce himself when I asked who is speaking. SCAM: Automated female voice, telling me that she was calling from my ‘internet provided’ (not specified!) and that my connection would be deleted immediately because of some ‘suspicious behaviour’ on my account. Absolute rubbish as usual. Second spam call received today.
Rang my mobile briefly and then stopped. No message left. Probably trying to get me to call them back. I ve had a lot of this type of call lately and they re always from telemarketers or accident claims hawkers, so draw your own conclusions about this one.
This number rings 2 to 5 times per week asks about my :- accident,ppi claim,reduce my bills and also a survey Told them to delete my number and will not answer any questions. They use my name and other family names and talk over you as it is important crap!
