Scam, pretends they are phoning from Amazon but have a call-spoof that makes it look like it comes from a London number. Google search of the number reveals only a scam in India. Thick Indian accent claimed my Amazon Prime video account was being abused (I don't have Amazon Prime video). Without me giving them a single detail, I asked for the name on the account and he said John something and that proved that this was a scam. Amazon don't ring and give the name of the account holder when asked. SCAM, FRAUD.

I took this call for my employer his lordship, the caller did not leave their details so did not pass on the callers request they asked whom I was told them I was his Lordships butler and the caller just kept saying the same word over sounded like oh or why could not make out the callers voice I was told to just hang up to which I did, I would advise anyone to do the same action.

Had a feeling this was ADT, haven t confirmed it but the comments seem to strongly indicate ADT. On top of the 0161 code. Just rang now at 3.19 in the morning, about five to six rings before I d even got to it, and then stopped. This is a scam number pretending to be from Amazon saying that my Prime membership was corrupted. I have now barred the caller.
Received call about 4.10pm 28-08-2020, lifted receiver and spoke , but received no acknowledgement , just several voices speaking in the distance in an enclosed space ,such as an office, since there was no response i hung up and called callprotect to blacklist caller.
