OH received a call on their mobile from this number 2 days ago. I Googled then and found it was a scam. Today I have received a call from the same number on my mobile, which is a consecutive number to the OH s mobile number. No way I would call an 0843 number for a service I wanted never mind for one I don t know about.
Wanted to know if wife ever worked in noisy environment. When told no wanterd details of type of work done. Obvious fishing trip.

Call to my landline 19:04hrs. The clue is in the number. Apart from inner city London, when last I looked, all UK numbers begin with 01. Clive, Peter, Brian Stephen etc are NOT popular names in India as these people would have you believe. The bottom line is a simple one, if you don’t recognise the number, don’t answer. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2036349xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, Claims Company, insurance marketing, RTA. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
