SCAM said they were solicitors, but would put a file through to solicitors for me regarding the ‘accident that was not my fault, so that I would get compensation for personal injury of £3500’! Kept the lady talking, established they were given my number by another company, National incidents? Hung up when I confirmed no accident had occurred!!! How rude!

Found out it s a timeshare cold call based in Tenerife. What they actually do is speak as if they are talking to someone else saying I can t hear anyone on the other end of the line, eventually put the phone down and wait for the person to call them back, obviously at their own cost. So be warned and beware.

This number called me today, said she was calling from the Nationwide Building Society. The female Indian caller knew my name, told me my postcode and asked me to confirm if it was correct. Got a call and the guy said he was from MTN asking if I did a sim swap today. I said no! He said I would receive an OTP with this no 573343. He said I will get another message with a different pin, I must give it to him. I got it and it stated: Do not give this pin to anyone. When he called back, I said I cannot give this pin to you. Who are you? Then he was off the line. I tried to call the no and it was just dead. I blocked it.
