These people have been calling me for weeks. I have told them that I am not the person they are asking for "Mrs Humphries" and asked them numerous times to take me off their list but still they call. As soon s they realise I am not the person they want they disconnect sometimes whilst I am mid sentence. Infuriating!

1st had a text sent to my land-line late last night, saying thank-you for going with Action direct PPI, I ignored it thinking it was a wrong number & I d not had any contact with this company. SCAM Indian accent claimed to be calling from BT Openreach because they had detected a decrease in my internet connection speed. They wanted me to perform a speed test - I asked them to call back in two days because I was very busy. Their number is registered on this site as BT.

Called my landline, by the time I got to the phone to answer it they had hung up.

Just got a call from this number. They asked for me by name and then asked me to confirm my washing machine brand. When I said I was not sure they hung up. I am sure they just want to check if the number is real before they sell it on or bombard me with other unwanted calls. They obviously did not check on the preferences list which I have contacted to make sure that these calls do not happen. Waste of time.

Said he was from windows HQ and my computer was about to crash. He told me to press windows key and the "r" key and follow instructions. If I did not accept the help he was offering Windows would not be responsible for the damage done to my computer.
