Number claims to be from NHS stating I have been in contact with someone who has Omicron Variant and I must order a free PCR testing kit and left a link to claim it. How would they know I have been in contact with someone with that variant? Expect it is a scam and if I clicked on the link who knows what the result might be. Received call from Indian sounding male, call centre environment. Said other people had been using my router. He did NOT ask to confirm my name address, account etc. I asked him many questions as I new it was a scam. He asked me to go to my computer. Had a call from this number yesterday. At the other end of the phone was a robotic recorded voice allegedly calling from HMRC to say that I had carried out fraudulent activity and that a warrant would be issued for my arrest unless I pressed 1 and followed the instructions. These people need to be hunted down and hung up by their dangly bits in my opinion. Real scumbags preying on the vulnerable!
