SCAM I was out when this number called. They did not leave a message on my answer phone but the number was recorded on my incoming call information system. Using a recall system it was found the number had become non-existent and was therefore no longer traceable. This would indicate that it is from a SCAM telephone number/company. I hung up the call and she called again and I said why shall I confirm any thing when you yourself do not know to whom you are talking to and she said just Shut-up and hung up the phone :( What a shame

The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. Scam, purporting tobe from Amazon

This looks to be a scam. I telephoned this number after missing a call and receiving a voicemail message from someone calling himself "John" asking me to call another number. The above telephone number is an automated voicemail service(possibly USA), with no company name given or any indication of identity.

Foreigh accent, claimed that an investment I had made (I haven't!) in a company (that I've never heard of) has made profit and he can help get me the money. Told him this was obviously a scam so he said "Why you think so?". I told him because I'm not an idiot and he obviously is to think I'd fall for it, then hung up. Blocked.

Im not from the uk. And the guy that called me was clearly indian but spoke english. Never gave his name or company that he called for. obvious scam is obvious.
