they rang and said they were a emergency service who have been trying to contact me. so i paniced and rang all my elderly family members to check on their welfare. what organisations try to pass themselves off as emergeny services, only bad ones

Just received a call from 07412 617374, it is a pre recorded message claiming to be from HMRC saying that there is an outstanding investigation against me regarding my NI number...

Should not be calling and harassing me... I am supposed to be on the list that says that they cannot cold call.

Online search says it s the tired old scam about your car accident.

Second call received from John at computer maintenance. First time when I told him that there wasn t a computer at this number he hung up, hoped this would deter further calls. But following day different time he phoned again told him that still didn t have computer and wanted to be taken off their database at which point he hung up. Waiting to see if they ring again.

When I phoned them they said the company was RED STAR asking if I had credit problems.

As soon as you answer, the caller shuts down so what is the point of them calling. nuisance value or to check whether you are in.No idea but these nerds are a menace to everyone.

I get a call at least twice a week and I m sure it s the same company as well but I ve never had ppi claim thing, but when you call the number back it says something about claiming a delayed holiday fight. Got an unsolicited call from this number. Did not pick up the phone but dialled 1471 to find out the number that had called me. Turned out to be Solution Marketing of Nottingham so I have complained to the TPS with whom my landline is registered.

Called me saying there’s a tax fraud under my name hung up as I’m assuming it’s a scam
