This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. This was something to do with "Their records showed I had received bad investment advice in the past." This was a complete lie as I have never made any investments. I told them this and asked not to be called again. I received an almost identical call from a different person on the same number the next day. I forgot to mention to them that I am TPS registered, but clearly their company does not care about that as they don't check.

I am confused by this. I recently received a call from this number about an annual service booking; the woman at the other end knew my name but wanted me to confirm my address and postcode, which I did. I agreed to a suggested date and time, and she tells me that I will be getting a call on the day to confirm.
