Automated voice stating they where calling from HMRC and that there was a fraudulent case against me and if I did not press 1 immediately then a warrant would be issued and I would be arrested. Firstly HMRC will never call you and secondly I am still waiting for the police to show up at my door and arrest me for nothing. Utter nonsense. Don't be fooled by these calls people.

SCAM - Claimed it was the National Crime Agency looking into fraudulant activity on my NI number, with the threat that HMRC would block it. Have checked with HMRC. It is a scam. Am assuming the phone number was faked in some way, as it's surprisingly close to my own.

The UK version of this number (+44 845 6808452) belongs to a legitimate music publisher based in the United Kingdom - The Music Company (UK) Ltd. In the past, it is a number which has been advertised for customers to contact with enquiries/orders, but return calls normally show caller IDs of the mobiles used by customer service team member calling, rather than this number.
I didn t answer but I remember this from last year. Its Arnold Clark phoning to arrange car service included with our plan for a car which we do have.
It was a recorded voice saying that my National Insurance card had been used multiple times illegally??? I hung up after 17 seconds.

I Received a call from this number twice today and when i was able to answer they introduced themselves as Consumer helpline, the lady on the call advised that i had overpaid for finance in 2011 and she wished to help me get this refunded however i have never taken anything out on finance. I asked to submit a subject access request under the Data Protection Act where she then passed me to her manager. Missed a call. Called straight back and a guy said it was NCA? or something like that. He knew my name (from my number I guess) and said he believed I'd been in an accident...
Some weird recorded message "...sent you an email, please check and ***** * * ** * *** * ...". Message started part-way through and was a lady with a foreign accent. Also had exactly the same call from a different number yesterday 0161 687 4127.
