Someone called saying they missed a call from me. I never called him. Sounded like an older man.
No message left and called for a few seconds. Blocked the call based on feedback above.
Purportedly from BT Internet dept threatening to disconect us which is amazing as we are not with BT!

Received call on landline at 7.49pm today. A female voice with a non local accent said she was calling from microsoft and asked for the main owner of the computer. I said no I am practising music, strummed a few notes, and she rang off. Clearly cannot recognise talent.

SCAM Didn't say who they were. Went straight into something about a suspicious payment made to Amazon of £1000. Press 1 if you made this payment, press 2 if you didn't to speak to cancellation agent. I hung up.
Silent call. Hung up when I answered. Also had a missed call from the same number bar the last number which was one out.

73p access charge an 7p. A short ring received and stop so knew it was a scam, but trying to delete from my missed calls, my phone dialled the number and I ended the call but not quick enough, so charged. Obviously a scam to may you call back a premium number and make money from their charges.

I established that the caller was a fraud and called them out at which point they stopped being polite and friendly and began to taunt and be abusive. Scam call from HMRC. Caller message is in an American accent and when you call back its an offshore rather than UK dial tone and they answer as HMRC - clearly a scam of some sort and not a very convincing one. Caller blocked but beware!!!
