A recording allegedly from amazon about suspicious activity on your account. You are only given one option which is to press 1 to talk to someone and the line goes dead.

Fraud!!! claiming to be from HMRC and that you have commited tax fraud and that the police will be calling at your door to arrest you but will not give you the details that you require

SCAM Very bad line, lots of 'morse code' type sound in the background. Think he was asking about refunding for cryptocurrency. I offered to send him some mice as we are in the middle of a mouse plague. I don't think he was impressed as he hung up. Very thick Indian type accent.

Scam call pretending to be your internet provider and then attempt to get remote access to your computer. They say your internet is about to be cut off, press 1 to speak to someone. They are low life scammers trying to either get you to buy their scam software license or steal your banking details. Beware!!!

Automat - hang up after you call, will be followed up by a scam caller. Phones same time every day. Appears to be autodialer. Doesn't leave a phone message.

I had an accident year before last and was insured with Aviva. The called said they were from Aviva and knew this my car and name and Excess. Said claim now reached stage of getting compensation for my time off work and they could get me compensation in the next few weeks now the car damage and liability had all now been agreed. I only realised something wasn't quite right, when they didn't know the date of the accident. Required a card payment of the excess to release payment.

Just called me regarding an attempted transaction to John Lewis. Said my account was ‘under attack’ and there had been several suspicious transactions. He said he would escalate my case to Level 3 fraud, set up a new account number and sort code with a random generated name. Phoned Santander fraud department who confirmed my account was safe - the scammer then called me back ‘No Caller ID’! so I told him in no uncertain terms that he was a scamming bastard and he could go forth and multiply.

Answered the call to an Indian woman claiming to be from carphone warehouse. Smelt fake $h1t from miles away. Ive never had dealings with them so challenged her. She swiftly ended the call without saying anything. Over 20 years of this bs and government has still done nothing to prevent it or hold phone service providers to account

SCAM: 07770 034516 is a recorded message claiming to be from the National Crime Unit & that your National Insurance number has been suspended & that you need to click 1. Like other similar scams it is an attempt to scare individuals into giving personal & financial details over the phone.

Fraud Recieved a call at 04.10 this morning, got a moody female when i called back this afternoon who put the phone down on me as soon as i said she called then called back when she said she had no idea, she then denyed everything Numbers apparently tagged to a company called yard
