Scam. Claims to be from HSBC trying to warn me about an unauthorised payee request. Honestly, as if times aren't hard enough without these scum bags trying to steal from working people. Lazy too as it comes from a normal mobile number. They should be ashamed of themselves on several levels. Lazy, thieving and incompetent. I don't know which one is worse.

It then plays music while caller holds. Long wait times, if you get connected to the agent. This seems to be a growing trend with different numbers continually changing. Potential fraud or scam.

Asked him where he got details - said from database but could not say what. Told him should at the minimum his company should be vetting against telephone preference service.
