.Harassing Cold call . Trying to sell roof insulation. Do I buy from harassing cold callers??? Nope! Knew our name and address. Asked him where he got details - said from database but could not say what. Told him should at the minimum his company should be vetting against telephone preference service. Asked him to remove our details from his database to comply with current GDPR rules. Kept him talking for a good 10 minutes to stop him harassing others during that time

Having received a call from this number I decided to call the number back, it was connected to a Pension Claims company, however as I have started to notice if you listen to the full message you can remove your details by pressing X/#... so will see if this works.
Keep getting phone calls from this and other 020 numbers. Don’t know who they are and they never leave a message, so I keep blocking them!

She ignored me and asked again if I had been injured, I said no, she asked if my family has been, I said no, please remove me from your database because this is my work phone and if I had been in an accident, it would have been my personal number... then she hung up. My voicemail picked up part of an automated recorded message, seemed to be telling me to press 1 or my National Insurance number would be 'switched off' and I would no longer be able to use it. I was told that this person needed to access my account to block these people from using my internet connection. I told him that I could see which devices were using my network by logging in to my account (which I did while I was talking to him).
