Very rude woman called. Initially all polite "I m calling from "Eco" - (something I could not hear) - "how are you today"? When I said suspicious of calls like this, she turned nasty - "you re not much of a man if you are scared of a cold call". Beware. Probably scammers.

Scam, pretends they are phoning from Amazon but have a call-spoof that makes it look like it comes from a London number. Google search of the number reveals only a scam in India. Thick Indian accent claimed my Amazon Prime video account was being abused (I don't have Amazon Prime video). Without me giving them a single detail, I asked for the name on the account and he said John something and that proved that this was a scam. Amazon don't ring and give the name of the account holder when asked. SCAM, FRAUD.

SCAM - When you answer the call you get an automated message stating that you National Insurance information has been compromised, the messages asks you to select a number on the keypad to speak to the Legal Dept. to ensure legal action is not taken due to fraud. Just called me regarding an attempted transaction to John Lewis. Said my account was ‘under attack’ and there had been several suspicious transactions. He said he would escalate my case to Level 3 fraud, set up a new account number and sort code with a random generated name. Phoned Santander fraud department who confirmed my account was safe - the scammer then called me back ‘No Caller ID’! so I told him in no uncertain terms that he was a scamming bastard and he could go forth and multiply.
