Automated call - don't answer. It's an automated call claiming there is an issue with your National Insurance number, that your "assets" will be seized and that if you don't press 1 to connect to a person you will no longer be able to use your NI number.
My husband has unfortunately been duped by this company - Clearview partnership. Started with hard sale on Carbon emmisions and he unfortunately has since gone on to invest large sums of money in gems and oil. Portfolio of investment was supposed to go to auction Dec 13. Suprise however - company states had to stop trading as under investigation but investment still safe!! Have since reported to police/action fraud but feer money gone ( life savings). SCAM - When you answer the call you get an automated message stating that you National Insurance information has been compromised, the messages asks you to select a number on the keypad to speak to the Legal Dept. to ensure legal action is not taken due to fraud. I have contacted HMRC they are aware of the SCAM you do not need to contact anybody - BLOCK THIS NUMBER and/or report to [email protected]
