SPAM: I received two consecutive missed calls from this number which were minute apart. Phone rang once and ended. Same number called again which only rang once again. Somehow the number left me a voicemail 2 seconds after the second call ended. I cannot find a search for this number online. RHAK, ILFORD.

SCAM Received a voicemail today from this number - 02039667956 - saying that my Amazon Prime account has been compromised and that I have been charged £350. I don't have an Amazon Prime account. It then gives the option to cancel the order by pressing 1 or go through to Amazon Fraud team by pressing 2. This number has been used for a previous scam which came up on the FCA website claiming to be a different company (when I entered the number into google that's how I found this bit of information).

Bogus caller "Tom" - supposedly calling about insulation in the loft being known to cause condensation, blah... hung up quickly when we started questioning him.
This number called me twice in San Francisco. Fortunately I wasn't there to answer.

Rang twice and hung up. I saw it was a premium number so did not answer. The best way to notice a scam call is when the caller asks for you by surname (which they cannot pronounce) probably because the forename is not mentioned in the records as they see them. Then scammers ALWAYS ask how you are, which is often when they try pulling up more details from the records.
SCAM: Automated voice claiming to be HMRC police and to call back on this number or face consequences.

I happen to have a fault so nearly fell for it, tried to get me to download a programme which would have infected my computer and obtained bank details. Eventually had about 5 calls a day from this number. never answered as my caller id said it was from jersey otherwise I would ve picked up a mobile number. rang them a few times before only for it to be cut straight off. eventually got through, threatened them with personal harassment and dealing with contacting me using unsolicited information. asked them to remove me off their system as politely as possible. fingers crossed that s all.
