Keep getting call for person who has never lived at my home. Yesterday asked to be taken off data base , Phoned again today and the caller put down phone when said person did not live here. So annoying and persistent
different persons call from this phone number, telling that our company's electricity contract is expired and required immediately get the new one, that is real spam, calling a few times every day, speaking really rude, today was received 7 calls during one minute, about 20 calls a day. How to stop these spammers? unfortunately, we cannot block the number.

This is a scam do not press 1 or engage with them and absolutley do not share any of your bank details or make any payments. Just block the number on your phone and share the knowledge of this scam with your friends and family.

This number rang our landline and asked for my husband by his first name only. Once speaking to him the male caller (African type accent) claimed to be from Sky and started asking questions - my husband's surname, security password, mother's maiden name etc. Unfortunately for him, my husband was not the easy touch he was obviously expected to be and the caller got no information out of him!

Caller claimed to be from BT Openreach calling about poor internet speed - sounded like an Indian call centre. I was wary but we have been having poor speed so I carried on. They asked me to do a speed test on out internet using a site I have used before. They said the speed figures were very low. They wanted me to download software so they could connect to my PC which I didn't do. When I started to challenge them to prove who they were they hung up. I suspect this is a scam call.
