Claimed to be Amazon, saying I’d bought a gift card for £49.99 and they wanted to check this was correct, and if it wasn’t did I want to cancel the order. I said it wasn’t me and I’d like to cancel (but was already suspicious - who buys a gift card for £49.99, rather than £50?!), then they started asking about which device I’d like the refund processed via. When I asked more questions about my concerns that this was a scam call they hung up.

Calling on behalf of HMRC have sent six letters requesting six different amounts seems they do not know what they are doing - just rack in some money whether you owe or not. Ignored them.

This automated service calls my number approx.once or twice a week. The call asks for a named person who I never heard of and requests a call back. After I hang-up I have noticed when I then lift my phone to use Iam still connected to this number. I dont no how to stop this caller.

Spoke about house insurance and said he was reviewing same. I said my father dealt with this and asked him to call back after 18.30.] No call back

Hi Ive just rung the number I read above - 0207 1750125. I spoke to a man called ~Barry who said that I had applied for a loan. When I said I had applied for a loan but whenever it comes up I have to pay I dont persue the application. He then said that it was a for a "membership" not a loan. Just been called from this number - thought it was a real human at first, but then realised it was some sort of semi-automated system, pretending to interact with my replies. Claiming to be Injury Claim Law - they have an interesting website, which contains a number of spelling mistakes, so doubt they are anything other than a bunch of low life ambulance chasing chancers!
