Just got a phone call from this number at 10:24am, 26/4/2023 stating that there has been 2 "international transactions" over £700 this morning. Don't believe it one bit considering its from an EE provided phone number. It then says to press 1 to cancel the transaction. I didn't press anything and just left it then it hung up.

Proports to be Amazon Prime updating fee and to click on a given number on the phone keypad to cancel it otherwise the set fee would be removed from my bank account. Needless to say I disconnected from the automated voice call.

SCAM ....I got a text at 10.30pm allegedly from Gov.uk saying I was due a tax refund and to fill in my details and then see if I was really due a tax refund. I called the number back and it rang out for a while and went onto voicemail GIFFGAFF VOICEMAIL! An automated call that said it was from the warrants and fraud department. That I was being arrested for fraud if I didn’t press contact the dept by pressing 1. Definitely a spam but some vulnerable people would panic
Have received numerous calls from this number however they keep hanging up when I answer the phone. I called them back only to be greeted by an automated message telling me that I could remove my details simply by pressing number 2. I did this and since then the calls have increased to 4 or 5 calls a day. I have now blocked the number from my phone.
Would not say who they were, read from script, I had won something, had to put phone down
