This number is a scam caller.Saying to confirm payments on bank cards

I was contacted by this number. A recorded message saying that £300 had been taken from my card for £300 to Amazon and also £1100 to another supplier I do not deal with. As usual with these calls I was asked to press different number. I immediately hung up and checked my accounts. to find nothing had been taken.

Scam number. Tried to video call me on WhatsApp and then messaging me trying to say I was a man called Paul.

This is a some sort of prank number. They do not speak then drop the call. Please arrest them and bring them to the nearest police station for questioning.

He is a scammer. You pay a ‘deposit’ then he hits you with the ‘delivery fee’. Your not getting nothing. He aint even in your local area.

Over the last two weeks there have been a number of High Wycombe calls, which are trying to con you about Amazon prime, silence, or a annoying hiss. This particular call is an annoying hiss. I have collected about 16 numbers in this time period of the same ilk.

I told him I did not have a visa debit card and asked him to explain further. He hung up. Please be aware never to give any bank details out over the phone. Called us 3 times to sell iPhone 14 pro max plus 256 gb for £35 a month with unlimited minutes, and texts + 1000 International minutes and free roaming abroad. It seemed to be fishy as £35 x 24 months= £840 while the same phone on its own from pc world currents on its own is £1250 - they say they are phoning from pc world currys -and the email they sent seemed flawed. They wanted us to pay about £39 delivery and our bank details for direct debit - but seemed dodgy so just ended the call.

Didn't answer. Looked it and and over a dozen reports of various scam attempts including pretending to be HMRC.

Scam call starting with automated message about suspicious VISA transactions. I selected the option to talk to someone. They could not explain who they represented, and started asking for my details. When I asked them to verify who they were, they hung up.

an Indian man said that he works for HMRC civil appeal and that I have an ongoing case with the court, he then proceeded to ask for my name and postcode in order to find my file, so I gave him a fake made-up name & my current postcode, without even asking for my house number he said yes sir I found your file. he will try to play with your mind and ask you to go to their gov website and spell their phone number for him, then in someway he will merge a call and call you from the gov number to fool you

Received a WhatsApp message from this number claiming to be someone who has just immigrated to the UK. In the WhatsApp contact details it says that the number is a business account but it also has a comment saying it isn’t a business account. Very dubious. Suspect a phishing scam
