Fraud SCAM The caller claimed to be from mobile phone promotion department offering a discount. I established that the caller was a fraud and called them out at which point they stopped being polite and friendly and began to taunt and be abusive. This call has been reported to the UK National Cyber Security Centre.
This is one of many numbers on a scam/spam rampage. Ive tracked the number to a street in liverpool, but i m not sure if they are using a proxy or not. I have a name of the operator and told them to take my number off ALL the numbers databases....Short to say I have been phoned a few days later, from the same office or complex. Usual ask by name, newver confirm just ask who they were, Scottish sounding chap confirmed the Green Advisory Service. Laughed in his face, told him I was signed upto the TPS, and I work designing roofing and I knew that it was a con, and never to call me again. Then blocked the number.
