Text message from this number claiming to be my child in a dire situation involving a smashed phone, lack of money etc. No name given and clearly a fake message. Did not provide my bank details.

SCAM Said from Vodafone upgrade team and could offer me a great deal on a upgrade. Asked them to email me the details so I could check it over. Email looked dodgy, address wasn't a Vodafone one. Forwarded onto Vodafone and they said not a genuine email from them. Called me back again and got angry when I challenged them on what Vodafone said. Told me I'd get another email to prove they were genuine within 30mins, still waiting a few hours later. Four calls today alone, all from different numbers!
This number called approx. 2.30pm stating in a recorded message that our credit card had been used fraudulently. £300 odd paid to Amazon. A £1000 odd paid out as well, from Scotland. This is the 2nd call today, saying exactly the same thing. The first from telephone01558810165.same recorded message at 12.30pm from Wales. A scam definitely.
The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. Claimed to be from reputable finance institution with loud dance music playing in the background, wanted to make sure I got back money I had invested, some nonsense about block-chain, called him out as a fraud and he said the music was because it was Friday afternoon! Utter BS! He started talking nonsense and generally being cheeky so I asked him to remove my number from his database, advised he would, asked if the music was loud enough for me etc, told him call wasn't costing me anything, he hung up, CLOWN

Called today @ 13:05 hrs. I have a call blocker on my landline set to 'announce'. This seems to work for all of these low life scammers. They do not introduce themselves to be put through. Telephone does not even ring. My suggestion is to get 'Call Guardian'

Automated HMRC call from this number. Requests a call-back or press one to continue. Call disconnects after about eight seconds of inactivity. Scam call.
Green Energy Together asking for a 25% upfront payment to secure our solar panel installation, they didn't introduce themselves properly so I didn't trust them and told them I'd rather stick to the agreement to pay on the day as originally agreed. They said I'd receive a confirmation email for the new install date but I didn't so I suspect this was a fraud caller.
This number 01133100118 which shows as Leeds rang me & offered to beat my network provider by 30% without knowing who i was with, 5 minutes later the same man (john) rang me again with the same offer, this time the number 01143560006 came up as Sheffield. Leeds to Sheffield in less than 5 minutes is pretty fast so i think these numbers are being spoofed from a computer.

This is a genuine number from santander fraud team. I was suspicious of the number so I rang it and explained I felt it was a scam and the advisor told me to ring the number on the back of my card which I did. And the fraud team confirmed that the text message was genuine and was from santander.

Automated call, has rung me 3 times (05/05). I rung back and it and nothing. Has now rung me twice this morning 09/05, I managed to pick up the phone, heard a very loud call centre in the background, and whoever called me hung up after a couple of seconds. Number is now blocked.
