A man pretending to be a famous person, asking for money.
Call from Amazon. Told to go online and check emails because somebody was taking £700 from my account. I said no and rang off. Called again wanting to know why I rang off and to get on the computer. I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead. I said OK go ahead.Told to be sure as call recorded. 'Good I replied, then you are also recorded. They rang off.

This number is a SCAM. I just received a call from a man telling me he had my file in front of him and I have some unsecured debts. When I told him that I do not have any debts he hung up immediately and didn't even say goodbye. Clearly not a genuine debt advice agency because they would never hang up in such a manner. Avoid at all costs.

A indian man called "Michael" rang saying he was from my television company, and he was going to reduce my repair and maintenance insurance for my television from ?7 to ?5. He then checked my name and address and was going to transfer my to his manager to take my payment details! What a load of rubbish and a scam! Had a call from this number, checked my phone bill and it charged me 17:99 for accepting the call, it was a answer machine but was made to sound like a human talking, block this...
So far have had four calls from this number. The first call was asked to answer a few questions for a poll. Told him I did not do surveys and he put the phone down. Second and third calls were male who put the phone down when told I do not do surveys and please do not call again. Fourth call was female. I told her she was the fourth caller in two days, please take me off their list and don t call again. The call was immediately terminated. Am now waiting to see if there are any more calls.
