Claiming to help provide a service against nuisance and scam calls (the irony..) then proceeded to request my card details - beware a SCAM. 14th December 2021.

SCAM number telling me that i had credit card transactions pending and wanting my details, mention visa card tractions and then when i asked which card it was they did say to me Barclay card , as soon as i told them i don't have a Barclay card they hug up
SPAM they state from LD marketing - but company doesn't exist. Rang up saying I agreed to a marketing campaign and owe them £300 for schools. No record of this. SPAM!!

Had a few missed calls showing on my phone but my phone has never actually rang so think it is a very short connection. No voicemail left and won't be calling the number back.

SCAM 0141729 8573 After initial silence, caller said his name was John and he was my local energy adviser in my area. I asked where he had got my number from as mine was X-Directory and he shouldn’t have it. As I was asking him to delete it he kept forcibly talking over me. I hung him. Blocked his number with BT. Do not give anyone on this number any information.

I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. Banged on about pensions for photographers and he d already worked with a Damian Blackwell? Whoever that it. I told him he was just a sad scammer, he got very shirty.
