Puzzled, I called it back, only to get a recorded message saying it was a research agency. More investigation revealed others had been bothered by it and that whoever these people are were claiming to be Carphone Warehouse. I doubt it. Kept asking if I was Mr (Last name), I kept asking who he was. He didn t know my full name which is always a flag. Never told me who he was and why he was calling, he got frustrated and ended the call. No idea who he was but wouldn t be surprised if, like the last comment it is a computer scammer. Number is probably spoofed as well.

Was sleeping when I got the call so I never answered it, but everyone else seems to have reported as an Indian Web Development company, so I can block the number seen as though I m a fully qualified web developer with 13 years experience... Don t think I need help...

This company is harassing me, phone calls start around 8am. I usually hear the start of the message and hang up,so my message box is always full. I finally pressed 2 as instructed and got a call back from this company. When I complained about the number of calls, she hung up on me.

It is the police. It s a ghost number so it doesn t show up as unknown/no number. Always check and confirm who people are though as there are scams. Scams will ask about credit cards, and want info they can actually benefit from.
