All seemed very legit..........UNTIL he told me he needed my full card number to put a stop on a further 12 transactions !!! I rang the number, it was a gentleman who hadn't a clue what was going on and clearly, his number appears to have been taken over without his knowledge. Internet caller said was calling from MICROSOFT was very aggressive when we declined to give our details and told us he was switching our internet off.
Not sure about this number - a lady called Jo has just phoned me about energy conservation and need to check my loft insulation to. I am quite concerned as a surveyor is going to ring me to make an appointment to come and inspect the insulation. Have checked the number it’s from Peterborough! Won’t be letting anyone in my house.

Called me in Portugal saying I had shown interest in their Swiss finance company. I asked where they got my number they said I had given it to them. I said I had not and they got cross with me saying where did they get the number from then?
An Asian man called Harry, could hardly speak English, red flag ,so hung up.
This number just called my mobile, but left no vmail. I hid my number, and called it back. I received the "This number is not recognised" message - suspicious as a result!

Suspected scam. I had a call from 07932918018 this morning. A recorded message said I had unusual transactions on my bank account. I was than put through to an "operative" who asked for my name and date of birth. I hung up at this point and will check with my bank.
