Sent text message to my mobile claiming to be from BT - then asked name and BT number. I refused further information on the grounds that BT already have my address and was given some unbelievable story about my mobile number having come up in some other context. Two hours later, the same message arrived on my wife s mobile. Clearly some sort of scam but I do not know what.

My husband has unfortunately been duped by this company - Clearview partnership. Man with Indian accent asked for me by name, claiming to be calling in relation to DNS mail server problems. Asked if my computer has been running slowly or with issues and then asked if I was happy for him to go ahead with fixing it. I am ex-directory and TPS registered etc so asked how he got my details which he then claimed he got from my ISP. Clearly that wouldn t happen due to data protection so I asked for his company name and contact details so I could call them later. He said i could check them out

They have called a number of times. They have either asked if I'm on the computer or just disconnected the call when I answer. It is usually a woman of Indian origin.

Asian voices calling themselves crazy names (one I asked said his name was Michael Jackson!). when I saddled where they were calling from, he said, your home town. Want you to complete a survey, very rude, phone constantly and won t get off the phone!
