26 Nov 2021 - Man with thick, asian accent called me, purporting from a company called "White Goods Repair" based in Luton, telling me that my Indesit washing machine warranty had expired and did I want to extend it. Clearly a scammer so I pretended that the line was bad, strung him along for as long as I could be bothered, before hitting him with my best line of expletives and hanging up on him.Reply

One in a number of regular calls from 'Mobile Numbers' recently ! All are an apparently recorded message in what sounds like Chinese or similar language.
Called from “the financial institution” wouldn’t clarify who that was or where they got my data, she got very angry when I questioned her and accused me of “playing around” and “being very rude” and then hung up on me.

I had somebody come to the house and quote me on new windows. They said that they were doing a discount because of some government scheme but after quoting me a ridiculous price the salesman informed me that the discount was suddenly going to run out and that I had about 24 hours to agree to buy the windows. Phoned about a car part. This company sent a quote twice about a car part after using 247carspares.co.uk They passed me from dept to dept and in the end said the part was no longer available. Beware of numbers starting with 070 premium rate.
