My mother-in-law has just found a charge for ?99.99 on her Barclays statement. I ve just spoken to the bank and they have been 100% helpful and have agreed to refund her ASAP. When mum-in-law initialy went into the bank to query the transaction they told her that it was a holiday company and assisted her to call them. The company told her that they take the view that unless you specifically say otherwise they assume that you want thier services, even though the in-laws had no knowledge of the company. T

I believe this number is being used by scam callers. I received a text inviting me to call back, purporting to be from HSBC about a potential fraudulent payment. I would suggest that any recipient ignores any calls or texts from this number. Since it is a premium number any return calls will be outside normal free call packages. HSBC always use free call numbers if they request someone to call back.

Had a Trojan malware alert. This is supposedly the Microsoft contact support number for the UK. I don’t know if that is true for sure.
Numerous calls from this number to my mobile, on the one time I answered they were rude & wanted to talk about an accident I have never had! Have now blocked and reported to UK police for criminal investigation and trace to identify and speak to company directors.

I didn t give them any of my details, they said because I wouldn t give them my information the police would be round my house in a couple of hours to arrest me. this number called and hung up when my answerphone cut in. If it was a genuine call it would leave a message. I do not know anyone in Inverness area. Suspect it is another scammer.
