I made all the info up.. and passed the apparent acount security check!! What a joke. Marketing preferences are all unchecked so they shouldn t even be calling. Yes this is an apparent service call from TalkTalk however, they did also try to sell additional services. Time to make an official complaint.

The caller knew I was involved in an accident and said he was instructed by the other party s insurer to pay out ?1000 for a non fault accident. He asked for my personal details and details of the accident. I refused to give my DOB and he said I should get receive an email. He then mentioned I would be unable to call this number but gave an alternate no. to call i.e. 01273 660 457 if I had any questions

About that accident I had in the last 2-3 years. maybe a car, maybe medical negligence ? I thought these calls were illegal now !
